Why should we use Driven By Sound?
With more than eight years experience over which time we have successfully entertained thousands! Unlike many discos we just have 1 DJ, therefore you are guaranteed the same quality time and time again. Many companies operate with lots of DJ's, therefore if they have been recommended to you there is no guarantee at all that you will have the same DJ or even the same equipment. With us it is different, if your have had us recommended to you can have peace of mind that you will receive the same quality DJ and equipment that has been seen before.

How long does it take you to setup?
We like to allow an hour but usually it will takes closer to 30 minutes depending on the number of extra effects you haven chosen.

Will the music be too loud?
Our DJs will always play at a volume suitable for the venue and the audience, however if at any time you require to music to be turned up or down, just ask! We will not be offended.

What type of music will you play?
Unlike other discos we select the music at the event using our experience not playing to set playlist regardless of the audience in front of us. You can guarantee that we will be playing a great selection of music to fit your crowd.

Can we provide a playlist?
Of course, at the end of the day we are working for you. Its highly likely the majority of your tracks are already in our library but as long the playlist is given to us at the latest 24 hours before your event we can guarantee to have and play your tracks.

Can I say which songs I don’t want played?
Yes of course.

Can i bring a CD for you to play?
Yes of course.

Do you take requests?
We always allow requests and the DJ will announce this on the microphone during the event. We will endeavour to play all requests as long as we find them appropriate for the function and have them in our library.

Will the DJ talk on the microphone?
The DJ will talk as he finds appropriate on the microphone, speaking professionally at all times never being disrespectful or rude to guests and he will not talk too much ruining the best songs!

What will the DJ be wearing?
Our DJ always wears black trousers, black shoes and our black shirt with our company logo. Ties can be worn if requested.

What Lighting and Effects do you have?
We have plenty of effects to fill any size venue. We have state of the art LED scanners, LED room lighting, lasers, smoke, bubbles and even a full projector system for showing your photographs or video on.

How many people can you cater for?
We have to ability to cater for any audience size from 50 people to 1500 people.

How Will I Pay?
You will be required to pay a deposit on booking and then the remainder either on or before the date of the event.

Do You have insurance and PAT Certificate?
Yes we have both!

How long does it take you to pack away?
Usually 30 minutes or less once again depending on the number of effects you required.
